A Policy for Jazz in England

The Arts Council published a policy for the support of jazz in 1996 and then 4 years later it was abandoned  In Paragraph 62 ot the policy the Arts Council say clearly that they will implement the policy over five years, yet when it was dropped there was no evaluation by the Arts Council of their activities in implementing the policy and how much of what they intended had been achieved.
