The National Youth Jazz Collective in partnership with the “Salute to Humphrey Lyttelton” band launch Create Your Tune
A key strand in the âSalute To Humphrey Lyttelton Tourâ that took place from the 18th of November to the 5th of December 2021 is âCreate Your Tuneâ. The National Youth Jazz Collective (NYJC) in partnership with the âSalute To Humphrey Lytteltonâ band are launching the scheme. This scheme is for people of any age to create a tune and record it by singing it, whistling it, or playing it on a musical instrument on their mobile phones. Entry is regardless of age, educational level or qualification. In the interests of fairness, no one will be excluded from entering and if entrants flag up in a tick box their status then that will allow the organisers to collate the entries and reflect entries from someone with no experience to professional or good amateur. Subject to funding the selected entries will be arranged and recorded by the  âSalute To Humphrey Lytteltonâ band.
